PMS and Period Pain!!! What to do about it??

First of all, There’s a lot of shame around periods. Women often feel bad for getting their period. As when you have your period, you tend to be a little softer, sadder, and just a bit sensitive. It really can be a bit of a crazy emotional time of the month!

There's a lot that can come when you have your period especially emotionally.

But ladies don't be too hard on yourself and don't hate yourself for getting a bit moody and tired. The first thing that we need to do is to acknowledge that we are women and we need to understand that we have that times of the month it’s our cycle and yes our hormones do constantly change all the time which affects how we feel.

However, if it’s becoming problematic there are lots you can do naturally to help with the symptoms of pain, PMS, and moodiness.

It’s a very good time of the month to have some serious me-time. You are one who knows what you need at this time of the month, not someone else. So do your best to lessen your stress as much as you can during this time.

When it comes to the physical; unbalanced hormones and a burdened liver are the main reasons why you're experiencing these symptoms.

You might not have enough nutrients such as Vitamin B6, magnesium, zinc, and selenium. These are some of the nutrients that are heavily required by the reproductive system and liver. Your liver might not be detoxifying properly, especially if you have been on the pill.

Interestingly, more and more women go on the pill these days to calm the hormones and symptoms - without knowing that it’s actually making the problem worse. As the pill over-rides the natural hormone fluctuations by saturating the body with synthetic hormones. These synthetic hormones build up in your body and contribute to liver burden and hormonal problems later on.

This is what you can do:

+ have a healthy whole foods diet + keep hydrated + maintain a healthy lifestyle + go light on the alcohol and processed foods + stop using all synthetic based chemical products on your skin, makeup clearing products perfumes, etc + detox your liver + drink heeeaps of ginger tea this stops the pain! + if you’ve done all of these then it’s probably time to look at getting some professional guidance.

So ladies stop feeling bad when you are on your period and take action today to be pain-free at period time.
