Asian Pork Meatballs

This is a fresh, tasty, quick to make spring dish!


1 cup brown basmati rice

Wash and cover with water 1 cm above rice
Cook absorption method: put on lid bring to boil then turn right down and allow rice to absorb water.

Meat Balls
Pork mince 500g
4 kaffir lime leaves finely diced
1 stick of Lemon grass white part thinly sliced
Fish sauce 1 tsp
Sesame oil 1/2 tsp
Salt and pepper to taste
Coconut oil for frying

While rice is cooking
Prepare ingredients for meatballs
Heat Pan and add oil
Mix all ingredients together and roll into balls.
Fry until golden 

2 Spring onions sliced
1 carrot grated
1 cup of finely sliced red cabbage
Broccoli sliced and steamed 

While frying the pork balls make the salad

1 chill finely diced
1 clove or garlic finely grated
1/4 cup of rice wine vinegar or apple cider
1/4 cup of olive oil
1/4 tsp sesame oil

While frying the pork balls make the dressing

When complete assemble as per image and enjoy :)
